Dear Claremont Middle School Students, Staff and Community,
It is my pleasure to present Mr. Tremaine Moore as the new principal at Claremont Middle School! I would like to thank the community and staff for participating in the process to identify the characteristics you wanted in Claremont’s new leader. We truly appreciate the time you dedicated to identifying your principal characteristics, interviewing, and the willingness to having your voices heard. Mr. Moore is thrilled to be selected by the staff and community of Claremont, and is excited to begin this important work as a team.
I have complete confidence in Mr. Moore’s leadership, ability to collaborate with a diverse community, and genuine dedication to continue to make Claremont Middle School a distinguished middle school. Mr. Moore was a teacher in OUSD for 16 years, including two years at Claremont. He was then Dean of Students at Claremont before become Assistant Principal at MLK/Lafayette Elementary School. Finally, he served as Assistant Principal at Edna Brewer Middle School for the past two years. He is very happy about coming back to Claremont as Principal, and is ready to collaborate with a dedicated staff and community so that all students learn and have a joyful experience.
We would like to host a Virtual Meet and Greet on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for staff and community to get to know Mr. Moore. Please join us in welcoming your new principal and take a step toward a new chapter of success for Claremont Middle School!
