Enrollment for Next School Year (2021-22)

Applications for the 2021-22 OUSD school year are now open! This is mainly for in-coming 6th graders and graduating 8th graders, everyone else can confirm their existing info within SchoolMint is correct.  Apply by February 5, 2021.
The steps for enrollment are below:

  1. Explore – Use OaklandSchoolFinder.org to explore public school options in Oakland.
  2. Apply – Submit an application at ousdapply.schoolmint.net between November 16, 2020 and February 5, 2021.
  3. Confirm – After you receive your offer on March 11, 2021, accept (or decline) your school offer by March 25, 2021.
  4. Register – Online registration and/or registration paper forms will be available in Spring 2021.
