The GE Girls program encourages girls to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM), and STEAM-based careers.
The campers will spend time exploring STEAM subjects through engaging activities, showcases, competition, story sharing from GE leadership and women in technology, learnings, and having fun throughout the 2-day event.
Camp Dates: July 21 & 22, 2021
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm PT
Format: Virtual via Microsoft Teams
Camp Cost: Free for girls! It’s GE Funded!
Schools/Districts participating: Brevard (FL), Roanoke (VA), Mesa (CO), Oakland (CA), Shoreline (WA)
Number of girls: ~100 total (approximately 20 girls per school district)
Requirements for campers: incoming 7th & 8th-grade girls and a device to join a Microsoft Teams
