Mr. Brown and our Claremont student musicians will take over the Rockridge BART Plaza from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30th, to showcase our wonderful school music program, including the Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble at the 2018 Claremont Middle School Play-A-Thon!
This annual fundraiser will support our ongoing efforts to make music education a key component of student life at Claremont. We invite all Claremont students and their families, friends and neighbors to attend the Play-A-Thon and support our student musicians.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE: Music students are collecting funds from friends, neighbors and family members. There’s also an option to donate online by clicking the orange donation button below. Just select your donation amount and complete the transaction using PayPal or a credit card (PayPal membership NOT required). Note for online donors: Be sure to note student name in the form if you want them to get credit for your online donation towards their fundraising goals.
HELPERS NEEDED: We also need volunteers to work on Play-a-thon day. Tasks are load in and load out, BART Plaza supervision and pizza pick up and set up. Please sign up to volunteer online or contact parent volunteer Laura at email@example.com.
ATTENTION MUSIC STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES: Donation/pledge forms have been handed out in class, or you can download and print additional forms using the link below. All money raised should be turned in by Friday June 1st, to Mr. Brown during music class.
We have PRIZES for the best fundraisers! Also, all students who raise some funds will be entered in raffle for some great prizes.
Parent Laura Deehan is helping to organize the playathon and can answer any questions you have. Email her directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
