This summer, the GE Women’s Network is teaming up with Mills College to offer a unique program for 25 7th grade girls at Claremont Middle School – A free GE Girls STEM Summer Camp June 12 to 16. (Look for the flyers going home with 7th grade girls).

From the organizers: We will host 25 girls for a week-long camp focused on STEM — Science, Technology, Math, & Engineering. The camp experience will include a variety of science projects, mentorship from GE employees, and a closing BBQ. There will also be pre-camp orientation activities (at CMS) and ongoing mentoring post-camp.

Interested parents should attend a mandatory parent meeting on April 20 at 5 p.m. in the school library. Please see Ms. Coleman if you have questions. For more about the GE program, please go here.
