Next Sunday the Oakland Tech PTSA (with help from the Claremont PTA) is hosting a free screening of Screenagers, a film created by a Bay Area doctor and filmmaker about how phones, social media and video games affect the lives of families and student learning. All members of the local school community (including parents and students) are encouraged to attend.

In this 68-minute documentary, a wide variety of topics related to social media and “screen time” are covered, and multiple viewpoints are presented. This film is relevant for families looking for guidelines and self control for smart phone and video game usage. Executive Producer Lisa Tabb will be on hand to answer questions following the film.
