End of Year Procedures

Hello, Everyone! In order to provide a safe environment OUSD has directed personnel entering school grounds abide by the following:

  1. Wearing a face mask at all times 
  2. Maintain 6 ft distance from all personnel at all times
  3. Not exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms (running nose, cough and or  fever)

Considering the above, beginning Tuesday, May 26th at 10:00am, students will enter through the Miles Gate. Please follow the directions below:

  • Students will enter alphabetically during a predesignate time
  • Students go directly to their respective locker room
  • Students will exit gym through side door
  • Band equipment is dropped on the tables at the entrance to the Band room
  • Students go to library door in the courtyard to return books & computers
  • Students exit through Birch Court fence

6th grade materials needed:
6th grade Humanities – Students who have Dragonwings books (Ms. Lozito’s class) should turn them in on Tuesday, May 26th during their appropriate time, along with history textbooks. For students that need their textbooks to finish work, there will be a bin at the front of the school for students to turn in their history textbooks starting on Thursday. 

7th GradeMs. Lehman and Ms. Carriere will be sending composition books and notebooks home on Thursday, May 28th. There is no need to return the Science textbook sent home on March 13th. 

Band -Students who are not continuing in band must return their instruments at the time assigned.   When you bring it please attach a piece of paper with your name on it and then place the case on top of the blue shelf that stores instruments.

* Note – initial robocall said 9:00 am Tuesday for 6th graders –  due to new developments, we had to move it to 10:00 am Tuesday.  Second robocall is going out Friday 5.22, in the afternoon confirming the 10:00-1:30 time for 6th graders next Tuesday.
