The Claremont Knights flag football team cruised to victory in their first playoff game on Saturday, defeating Sankofa Middle School, 26-0. The dominant win was fueled by a suffocating defense, and it followed an unbeaten regular season for Coach David Doubley’s squad.

The playoffs continue on Saturday, Nov. 19, and the Knights hope to play two games that day. If they win the first game, then they will continue on in the playoffs for the second game later that day. The citywide Silver Bowl championship, which will determine the winning middle school team for the 2016 season, is scheduled for Nov. 25. Go Knights!
