2016 Claremont Auction: Save the Date!
Mark your calendars! The 10th Annual Claremont Auction is slated for Saturday, Oct. 29, at St. Peter’s Parish on Broadway at Lawton. This is Claremont’s biggest fundraiser and a terrific community-building event. More details to come.
Auction Kick-Off Planning Meeting: Tues., Sept. 13
Many hands make light work! The auction co-chairs will be hosting a kick-off planning meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Teresa Tauchi, 6107 South Rockridge Blvd. We’ll talk about volunteer needs, donation brainstorming, gala planning, and much more… and how you can help make this the smoothest and most successful auction ever.
We Need Your Donations!
Whether you can attend the auction kick-off meeting or not, we need Claremont parents to get creative and think about all of the ways they can make a donation to the auction catalog… Provide weekend of dog sitting? Share a special craft or skill? Have access to a vacation home? You can submit your donation using this online form »
Parents can also ask their favorite local businesses to make a donation — in return, the donors can reach their target market and support Oakland public schools! Just ask the auction co-chairs for printed donation forms and solicitation letters that include Claremont’s non-profit tax ID.
