Healthy Oakland Teens curriculum is coming
All CMS students will be taking part in the Healthy Oakland Teens curriculum for puberty/sex education.
- 6th grade start date: Wednesday, March 20 (5 lessons)
- 7th grade start date: Wednesday March 14 (10 lessons)
- 8th grade start date: Wednesday March 20 (5 lessons)
Opting Out: If you do not want your child to participate in the Healthy Oakland Teens curriculum, you may opt them out by emailing your child’s science teacher and requesting an alternate assignment for that unit. Opt out communications should happen no later than Tuesday, March 13th.
