Welcome Mr. Benjamin Schmookler!
We'd like to welcome Mr. Benjamin Schmookler to Claremont Middle Schoool. Mr. Schmookler will be the Interim Principal through the remainder of the academic year. He has 12 years of teaching and administrative experience and was most recently Vice Principal at Oakland High.
We'd also like to thank Ms. Deitra Atkins for providing support and stability here at Claremont throughout the fall. Best wishes in her return to her much-deserved retirement. And look forward to when she will return to work with the students on preparing for the MLK Oratorical Festival in January.

An enormous Thank You to the Barrios Trust for its generous grant of $5000 to the Claremont Project Seven Media Lab. With this grant we will be able to continue to support this unique, successful and popular elective at CMS.
